"I've been struggling with ArcGIS Server 9.2 and every time I need to work on this, I want to quit my job and change professions. There are so many things that I find confusing with the software. Not only does one need to understand an insane amount of programming languages and tools, but you also have to be a mind-reader so that you can understand the piss poor help that comes with it.
Maybe I'm just not good at this stuff, but it's overwhelming. I need to know ArcMap so that I can create an MXD with the right symbology. I need to know ModelBuilder to create geoprocessing tools. I possibly need to know Python to create good ModelBuilder models. I need to know C# (or VB) to create the website. I need to know AJAX. JavaScript. ASP.NET. The list goes on..."
